Longtime Hollywood agent Ed Limato has died at the age of 73.
Limato, who was suffering from lung disease, died July 3 at his Beverly Hills home.
EW.com reports that Limato was one of the most powerful and successful Hollywood agents. The Associated Press reports Limato was an agent for many famous actors such as Marlon Brando, Denzel Washington, Richard Gere, Mel Gibson, Steve Martin and Claire Danes.
The agent was known for hosting an annual A-list party the weekend of the Academy Awards.
Elton John, one of Limato’s closest friends, spoke to EW.com. “I became friends with Ed because of his Oscar party,” John said. “He hardly ever traveled outside of America, but he used to come every summer to stay with us in France. He was the gentleman agent and the last of a dying breed. He was such a wonderful man. I don’t think we’ll see the likes of him again.” (Associate Press)

I’m fascinated with the good quality of writing you’ve got yourself here, and I’ll definitely be returning to say whats up again in the future. Anyhow I will not take up any more of your time, I just desired to say hello there and enjoy the week.
